Tuscany Dream 08.29.09

So after taking all the recommendations of using Etsy for my jewelry, I found the perfect set from Tztudio. I'm doing just the earrings and the bracelet. The lady told me at the dress shop that I have great collarbones so I could just use that for my neck jewelry! Ha ha...never been told that before!

I truly wanted to find something that they would wear again and something they feel comfortable and sexy in! I first just thought of solid black dresses but then ran across a few with the Champagne underneath and fell in love. I think I'm going to have them made by an incredible seamstress in our area.   Here's what I decided...we will be making the BM dresses...the top will be the lacey top on the right picture, the bottom will be similar to the picture on the left. I'm really excited to get exactly what I wanted but think (**hope**) the girls will love them too. And I'm saving a killer amount of money!! Can't beat that.

So we had the girls first fitting and here's a pic of the dress so far. Ok so it looks like a inside out pilgrim dress...have faith that it will turn out!! The seamstress is awesome and is doing a complete custom fit for each of the girls. What girl wouldn't want a dress made just for them!

Ok, so here's an update with the dresses. We've had to make a few alterations to the style of the dress. They just weren't doing it for me or the girls, so we finally went in for one more fitting and I'm now satisfied with the dresses. A little sad that I didn't get the original look up top with the scalloped neck but they're much better now. Here's Christa modeling the old cut and the new cut.

I went and saw the completed dresses today. They look great! I'm excited to see them on all of the girls! Here's Terri with her dress done!
